The concluding ceremony of the Jubilee Year of Mercy 2015-16
The Jubilee Year of Mercy 2015-16 was inaugurated on 13th December 2015 at Rosario Cathedral by Most Rev. Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop of Mangalore by opening the main door of the Rosario Cathedral and along with the faithful entered through that door and celebrated the Holy Eucharist.
This year as the part of the concluding ceremony of the Jubilee Year, two days Prayer Service on 19 and 20th including the Praise and Worship, Word of God, Adoration and the Holy Eucharist was celebrated. Rev. Fr Franklin D’Souza, Rev. Fr Boniface Pinto, Rev. Fr Vijay Machado, Rev. Fr Melwyn Noronha, Rev. Fr Clifford Fernandes and Rev. Fr Andrew D’Souza who took the initiative to lead the prayer service and both the days Most Rev. Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop of Mangalore presided over the Holy Eucharist. Msgr. Denis Moras Prabhu, Msgr. Leslie Shenoy, Rev. Fr Pius D’Souza, Rev. Fr J. B. Crasta, Parish Priest of the Cathedral, all Vicar Varas and priests of the diocese were present.
Rev. Fr J. B. Crasta, Parish Priest of Rosario Cathedral who took keen interest to make this event a successful one, along with Rev. Fr Paul Sebastian D’Souza, the Assistant, Rev. Fr Vincent D’Souza and Rev. Fr Rocky Fernandes, Principals, Mr Dolphy D’Souza, Vice- President, Mr John D Silva, Secretary, Parish council members and all parishioners. Thousands of people witnessed this great event and became the part of this holy celebration.
