Most Rev. Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, the Bishop of Mangalore has appointed Rev Fr Victor D’Souza as the new principal of the Rosario Pre University College, Mangalore from 11June, 2018.
Rev Fr Victor D’Souza hails from Kundapur. He has completed his basic education from High School at St Mary’s High School, Kundapur; PUC at Milagres P.U. College, Mangalore; Degree at Bhandarkar’s College Kundapur. After the initial studies he joined St Jospeh’s Seminary, Jeppu, Mangalore and was ordained priest for the diocese of Mangalore in the year 2006. He has served in Milagres Church, Mangalore, St Sebastian Church, Thokkottu as an Assistant and as the Parish Priest of Uppinangady Church.
Qualifications: M.Com (Karnataka State Open University, Mysore); M. Sc in Counselling Psychology (Martin Luther Christian University, Shillong, Meghalaya). Qualified in Individual, Marriage and Family Counselling. Specialised in Educational Counselling. Done his research studies on Impact of Learning Styles on Academic Achievement among Secondary School Students. He has also conducted workshops and seminars in various colleges in Bangalore. He is interested in reading books and research articles; Music and singing are his passion.
