A low profile Teacher’s Day was celebrated jointly by Rosario Eng. Med. Hr. Pry. School and St. Ursula Hr. Pry. School in the Audio Visual Room of Rosary Kindergarten Section on 5th September 2020 at 10.00 a.m.

The programme commenced with the inauguration, by the Lighting of the Lamp and Prayer Service.

This was followed by a formal welcome by the Headmistress Mrs. Jeanette Fernandes. Very Rev. Fr. Alfred J Pinto, Correspondent of the Rosario Institutions Presided over the Programme. Rev. Fr. Vinod Lobo - Administrator, Rosario Eng. Med. Hr. Pry. School, Mrs. Lavina Pinto - Headmistress, St. Ursula Hr. Pry. School, Mrs. Jeanette Fernandes - Headmistress, Rosario Eng. Med. School and the staff of Rosario Eng. Med. School and St. Ursula Hr. Pry. School offered flowers and paid homage to the portrait of Sri. S. Radhakrishnan, a timeless teacher and the former president of our country in whose name Teacher’s Day is celebrated.

Rev. Fr. Vinod Lobo, in his message called upon the teachers to serve with dedication and commitment as both are important aspects in a teaching profession.

The correspondent in his message showcased the exemplary lives of St. Mother Teresa, Dr. S Radhakrishnan and Late Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Basil D’souza and their contribution to the society in social, educational and spiritual field and to imbibe their virtues. He emphasized that every teacher should have the quality of humility which would bring amicable relationship with one another. He further said that all teachers are efficient and have the competency of being great teachers, he invited the teachers to work at drawing the best from each child and nurturing them to develop and grow to a great human being.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Shoby Francis, Teacher of Rosario Eng. Med. Hr. Pry. School. The programme was compered by Mrs. Jeanette Fernandes , the Headmistress, Rosario Eng. Med. Hr. Pry. School.
